Posted by devin12 on April 13, 2008

Hello readers this is another one of my caravan log except for one thing we are writing only about one thing. Enjoy:)

It is said that Islamic heaven is where there is trees every where with all kind of fruits. It is said that water is unlimited. It’s a place where every single wish is fulfilled. It’s where they can eat different meats anhd drink but won’t get drunk. There is no fighting. People will rejoice with there parents, wives, and children if they are permitted.

Mr.R

Posted by devin12 on March 22, 2008

Dear readers,

There is man that once taught me to love the world. He taught me how to write stories that where amazing. But sadly that teacher had to go. If only I had got to say good-bye then wouldn’t have to cry. If only he was still here i would never shed a tear. That is why I did not think him as a teacher but a friend. A friend that would stay to the end but that was not to be so. So i just want to say that all the kids miss you at the school hoping that it wasn’t true.

Poem for a teacher

Posted by devin12 on March 9, 2008

Hello this teacher poem  is for the teacher who left my school also called Mr.R!!!!

In the Hands of a Gifted Teacher
A Classroom is a Magical Place
In the Hands of a Gifted Teacher
There’s a Smile on Each Child’s Face
In the Hands of a Gifted Teacher
Creative Energy is Everywhere
In the Hands of a Gifted Teacher
There’s a Catalyst who Genuinely Cares
In the Hands of a Gifted Teacher
Desire and Wonder is Awakened
In the Hands of a Gifted Teacher
The Educational Agenda is Shaken
In the Hands of a Gifted Teacher
Self-Management Skills are Modeled
In the Hands of a Gifted Teacher
The Best of Reality is Bottled
In the Hands of a Gifted Teacher
Gifts and Talents are Refined
In the Hands of a Gifted Teacher
The Willed Future is Designed.

Friendship poem

Posted by devin12 on March 3, 2008

This is a poem for friends or people who want to know the true meaning of friendship.

True Best Friends

Like a needle in a haystack
true friends are hard to find
That’s why I am so thankful
that I can call you mine

Whenever I need a shoulder
you’re there to catch my tears
You’ve kept my many secrets
    throughout the passing years

With you my heart is honest
and this I want you to know
I thank you for everything–
you are a mirror of my soul

A Poem for Self-Esteem

Posted by devin12 on March 3, 2008

I found this poem here. It talks about you being yourself and be proud.

BE YOURSELF

Why would you want to be someone else
When you could be better by being yourself
Why pretend to be someone you are not
When you have something they haven’t got

Cheating yourself of the life you have to live
Deprives others of that only which you can give
You have much more to offer by being just you
Than walking around in someone else’s shoes

Trying to live the life of another is a mistake
It is a masquerade; nothing more than a fake
Be yourself and let your qualities show through
Others will love you more for being just you

Remember that God loves you just as you are
To Him you are already a bright shining star
Family and friends will love you more too
If you spent time practicing just being you

What I learned this week 1

Posted by devin12 on March 3, 2008

This about what I learned in class enjoy.

I learned that blogging isn’t just typing what ever you want. It takes time and patience. Also making good comments. So next time don’t act immature at people if the say “gay” because it’s just a word nothing else to make fun of. I also learned that scientists use a complicated method of math to find out of many fish are in a lake. It takes time to set up proportions to find the number of fish.

What I Thought About A Wrinkle In Time And The Themes

Posted by devin12 on March 2, 2008

Hi I am going to tell you what I thought was good about a wrinkle in time

The main theme was individuality vs. conformity because it’s all about earth being different when Camazotz was all the same. Overall the book was great with a few mistakes wich made it boring. What I thought was the most memorable was when the first meet the most evil/sinister thing on Camazotz. It was IT! if you read the words carefully it would paint a very gruesome picture. What I thought  was least was when Meg, Charles wallace, and Calvin with the three Mrs. W’s visited the 2-D world. The reason why is because it was like about one sentece in the book about it. I liked that it had a happy ending. What I didn’t like was how I had seen the moive years before.
